The short answer

An illustrative grant estimate is the selected support rate multiplied by qualifying costs, limited by the remaining annual cap and applicable sub-cap. You still need to pay the project expenses before reimbursement.

Select only a rate relevant to your activity and company. Costs, award amounts and remaining cap must be verified separately. This is a planning example.

Reimbursement changes the cash plan

For an illustrative S$40,000 of qualifying costs at 50%, with enough remaining cap, the estimated grant is S$20,000 and the net qualifying cost is S$20,000. The business still needs to fund the S$40,000 payment before reimbursement.

Budget separately for GST, excluded expenses, subscriptions after the supported period and internal implementation time. A claim may require clarification, so maintain a cash buffer.

What this calculator does not decide

The tool cannot decide which costs qualify, whether you are an SME for the activity, which rate applies, whether your annual cap is available or whether the project will be approved. It also does not apply every activity-specific cost or quantity limit.

Use the approved cost schedule and Letter of Offer for real project commitments. Treat the result as a way to understand the arithmetic, not an offer of financial support.
